Social Studies 1. Which chapter in World History did you enjoy most this year and why? The chapter I most enjoyed in World History was chapter 10, Ancient Rome. The reason I enjoyed it most was because we got to see exactly how the Romans ate, worked, worshiped and even cleansed themselves in the public baths.
2. Describe some of the things that you learned in that chapter. Is there a project that you completed that you enjoyed working on? Some of the things I learned in this chapter were that the Romans were Roman Catholic, the people also bathed in public baths. There was no project but we sure learned a lot.
3. What new skills have you learned throughout the year? Some new skills I have learned throughout the year is map reading skills. When I came into sixth grade I was horrible at reading maps but now I could at least read them with no problem.
4. How can you apply this knowledge to the real world? The way I can apply this knowledge in the real world is when I am in the car and I get lost I can easily look at a map and be able to find out where I am and where I need to go.
